Illidan:  Not that I'm displeased about being called away from the second raid group of the week, but why am I here?

Illidan:  So do it.  It's not like it's that painful.  Besides, I'm not even your character.

Illidan:  It's still not that terrible.  I can think of lots of worse things than having to tell the internet ten facts about yourself.

Illidan:  You plan to do that anyway.

I will...um.  Look, I hate these things and I don't want to, but I'm feeling nice, and it's Talebringer.  You know, the person I want to be nice to so she'll keep writing the vampire collab with me.  Please do it for me?

Illidan:  *sigh* Yes, but if they want to know anything about me, they can just go hunting about the interwebs.  It's not like there's a lack of information on me.

No, but it's more fun if you tell them yourself.  And besides, as long as you're involved in events or they relate to you in some way, I'll count it as a fact.  The rest of the internet can argue about it.

Besides, the official lore stories leave out a lot of personal information, like what you do for fun.

1. Illidan:  Okay, fact number one.  ...Wow, it's hard to think of facts about yourself when put on the spot like this.  Oh, here's one:  mine and my twin brother's last name arises from an incident involving a very large storm and 39 destroyed buildings in our hometown of Suramar.
2. Illidan:  Let's see...I can't cook worth a shit, largely because my brother won't let me.  It's totally not fair!  I only burned the house down four times!
3. Illidan:  I can sew very well, though.  And enchant...bit stuck on levelling both though, since I need a runed truesilver rod for the chanting and buttloads more runecloth for the sewing.  Oh, and a black pearl to help make the truesilver rod.  If only there were a friendly blacksmith around here...
4. Illidan:  Hmm.  Fishing is one of my hobbies, though Rhonin looks at me funny whenever I go visit him in Dalaran.  Mostly because I wind up fishing in the fountain with a magnet tied to a string.  I still haven't found Uther's coin, but I've fished up Maiev's, like, five times.
5. Illidan:  Tea is the most awesome drink ever to have been invented.  And my favorite is peacebloom.
6. Illidan:  Woo, halfway through!  Okay.  I really wanted to go down and visit Azeroth during the whole Emerald Nightmare taking over the world incident--seriously people, I don't have a good relationship with my brother, but that doesn't mean I won't go help him when he's being turned into a tree!--where was I?
7. Illidan:  Oh, right.  Well, Knaak missed a hugely lols-worthy opportunity in his book Stormrage.  And that was me managing to get into the Nightmare--if Tyr can do it, I can too--walking up to Mal in tree form, and saying "Mal...you know I love you and all that, but this really needs to be said.  I think you've taken this whole druidism thing a wee bit too far."
7a. I admit it.  I bought and read the book despite my raeging against it for the Mal doesn't have gold eyes thing.  Mostly because Blizzard ret-conned it into the game.  Bastards.  >>
8. Illidan:  Let's see...oh, there's one.  I actually did pass the trials and make it into the Moon Guard.  And me only having gone to commoner mage school...but anyway, that's not the juicy one.  The juicy one is this:  I only stayed on with them for about a month.  Not because I got homesick or anything like that; I could go back for visits every couple of weeks or so.  No, the reason was that the Highborne are very...classist.  And since I was a commoner, I was the obvious, easy target.  Their favorite tricks included filling buckets full of manure and booby-trapping the door to my room in the palace with it, putting a sticky jinx on my chair, and stealing things and blaming me for it.  I finally left when they tried to blame me for the chronic disappearance of palace silverware.  I have my pride.
9. Illidan:  On the subject of the chronic disappearance of palace silverware, I did not steal it, despite it constantly ending up in my sock drawer.  Seriously, think about it:  in the entire palace filled with magical artifacts, scrolls, and garments belonging to the Glorious Queen Azshara, why would I steal silverware?  All that does is create a headache for the servants.  If I were going to steal something, I would steal something interesting.  Like Queen Azshara's underpants.  Two pairs.  And I wouldn't put them in my sock drawer either.  I'd mix them in with my own underpants and wear them.  ^^
10. Illidan:  Aw, last one already?  And I was just starting to have fun...don't see why Morea hates these things...anyway.  I'm really looking forward to the day I can come out of hiding in the southern seas and visit my brother again.  It's rather boring, pretending to be dead.
10a. I hate these things because I am a private person, and I do not like revealing personal information on the internet.  For future reference.

Illidan:  Okay, so Morea doesn't want to tag anyone, but I shall tag for the lulz.  I'll laugh if she does a corresponding one of these for Mal.  Or Xavius.
