Pick seven qualities, and describe how yours would look if they were characters, or alive. Up to you.

I decided to take the Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Heavenly Virtues instead.  Here goes:

1. Pride:  Pride is an irrepressibly vain creature, with white skin--only rarely powdered--and a figure slightly less full than Lust's.  Her hair is black, but often wrapped into headresses which do very little to enhance her already-considerable beauty.  Her eyes are deep blue and are highlighted with makeup or kohl (or both).  She takes every opportunity to flaunt who and what she is, along with every one of her possessions, to anyone, listening or no.  She fancies herself the Empress of the Seven Sins ever since Sloth pointed out to her in a moment of sheer boredom that Empresses could order the heads of Queens lopped off.  Thankfully, no one has told her about the powers of goddesses, yet.  It is doubtful, however, that she would chase such power if it were offered to her; she prefers things to be given to her—she is, after all, an Empress.  She also prides herself on her abilities to resist such things as the other Sins would fall for in a heartbeat.  Humility often tries to get her to tone down her efforts, and has tried many avenues to make this attractive to her, including lust and greed.  None have worked so far, but she all but refuses to give up.  Pride has a mob of pet peacocks which she feeds from her own hand, but has not trained other than to make loud noises and spread their tails when she is near and has guests approaching "The Imperial Presence".  She lives in the largest mansion of all the sins, though it is built more like a cathedral mated with a palace than a home.  She shares houseroom with Sloth and Envy; one of whom is too lazy to get a house of his own, and the other too envious of others' possessions.  She views them both as children and does not begrudge them as she would most anyone else.

2. Sloth:  Sloth is the laziest of all the sins for a reason.  He keeps no pet animals, as that would involve effort.  He was once little more than a shadowy figure trailing around behind the rest of the Sins, but he then discovered that being half-in and half-out of existance was more difficult than keeping a simple corporeal form.  What it looks like, however, is unknown, due to the plain black hooded cloak it wears, which fully conceals any hint of feature or even gender Sloth possesses.  Sloth spends its time lazing about in a bed, though it will on occassion borrow a book from either Pride or Greed's library and read it until it again grows bored.  It is rarely mimicked by Envy, who cannot fathom why anyone would not wish to expand his, her, or its domain.  Diligence and Patience, on the other hand, sometimes attempt to wheedle him out of bed to do something—anything—other than sleeping or reading.  Their efforts so far have yielded Sloth getting a room service bell, which he uses to call for food on the rare occassions that he is hungry or thirsty.

3. Gluttony:  Gluttony is the fattest and arguably the most energetic of all the sins.  His skin is pale and thin, the veins clearly seen through it.  It is also covered with marks which further suggest his own unhealthy habits of eating.  His blond hair never seems to grow longer than a few inches and his pale grey-green eyes usually glitter with jovial mirth.  He lives apart from the others, in a mansion always full of light, music, and (of course) massive amounts of food and drink.  It is rare that one will come to his house and not find a party in full swing.  These times are usually moments in between parties, but sometimes, they are filled with Gluttony eating alone, stuffing himself until he feels ill.  As he absolutely detests wasting food, he stops then and waits until he no longer feels as though he would throw up at any given moment.  This habit has yielded an excessive girth which has gotten him stuck in embarrassing positions numerous times; the last occassion involved him not being able to remove himself from the chair he had sat in.  Despite the worthy efforts of most of his servants and several of the partygoers, Gluttony and the chair remained stuck fast.  Laughing, Gluttony had the chair fitted with wheels and so continued his revelry.  He shares what he has with anyone who wishes to come to him, from the poorest beggar to Greed himself.  A friendly creature, Envy is often seen at his side or even trying to take his place.  He is, however, usually spotted within moments.  Temperance has long since given up attempting to change his behavior, saying that if he wishes to eat as much as he does, it's not her fault if he explodes while doing it.  Charity, however, is pleased with his penchant for sharing what he views most precious with everyone.  She does, however, wish that he would share more than that, but thinks that what he is doing now is about as good as she's ever going to get.

4. Wrath:  Wrath, unlike most of his siblings, does not live in a mansion.  Instead, he lives in a small house on a row of many others exactly like it.  However, as Wrath is almost never there except to eat or sleep, the place holds an air of neglect.  It would likely be the residence of many homeless people if Wrath did not view them as vermin and punish them ruthlessly whenever he does show up.  Decidedly male, Wrath tends to spend as much of his spare time exercising or fighting; he is muscular and wears clothes which showcase this.  He keeps his hair cut mercilessly short, and his eyes are oddly red, even to the point of glowing or being on fire.  He tends to pick fights with anyone to prove his own dominance, and the workers at the gyms and stores he frequents have to be warned to be extra-submissive around him.  He once had a highly-successful career in boxing and wrestling, but was quietly dropped after it became clear he could not control himself in the ring, resulting in the deaths or permanent injury of his opponents.  Kindness is too afraid of him to approach him or even hold his gaze for more than a moment, though Temperance has approached him about his fits of rage on three separate occassions.  The anger management courses that Wrath's former coaches insisted he take have only resulted in a backyard full of broken stone and metal twisted into unrecognizable shapes.  On the very rare occassions he doesn't feel like beating anyone into a bloody smear on the ground, Wrath is found sitting on his roof, staring up at the birds flying overhead.  No one yet has dared to ask him what he is thinking about during these times, as he denies their existence vehemently.

5. Greed:  A person nearly as flamboyant as Pride, Greed is never seen without a full retinue of servants and associated hangers-on.  He lives the life of a rockstar, but how he comes by his wealth is a mystery to even his closest confidantes, each of whom knows a different story.  Greed takes every effort to appear happy with what he has, but his ever-expanding mansion and art collection tell a different story.  He and Pride share a fence, and she is probably his only real friend.  Like Pride, Greed has dark hair and blue eyes, but his eyes are much lighter than hers and he makes no effort to draw attention to them.  He may see himself as being ugly, though he is probably the second-most beautiful of the Sins.  Lust is often at his house, to the point where the paparazzi wonder openly about her relationship with him.  The truth of the matter is that Lust is little more than Greed's lover; he tells her no secrets and may view her only as an object in which to spend himself whenever he feels the need.  He does , very rarely, turn up for one or another of Gluttony's parties, though he is invited to every single one.  Greed is not prone to fits of anger, but has considered "hiring" Wrath as his security to further ward off potential thieves, as though the laser turrets and various booby traps aren't enough to keep them all very far away.  Envy mimicks him sometimes, but almost never in public as Greed's security once tackled him and had him arrested for attempting just that.  Greed bailed him out after a day or two, but the lesson was well-learned.  None of the Virtues really know what to do with this creature of contradictions, and so they leave him alone for the most part.

6. Lust:  Lust thrives on attention almost as much as Greed and Gluttony, but she prefers the kind which stays the night and leaves in the morning.  Generally a woman, Lust has the ability to change any feature of her body she feels is ugly, including her gender.  Whatever she feels makes her "beautiful" is what she looks like, which has a tendency to change by the hour.  Her abilities are why she abstains from makeup; her clothes are chosen to take in as many men (or women, or both) as possible.  She is a drifter, and spends time at other people's homes for as long as a night of great sex will take.  She does sometimes spend a night or two at Greed's, but their actions together make it clear that neither lose any love for the other.  It is, however, arguable that Lust even has the capability to love.  Whatever the case, most of the Sins find her annoying, which forces her to spend most of her time among humans, doing exactly what she does best.  She seems to view Chastity as an innocent who needs corrupting, and her efforts to do so have gotten to the point where Chastity has taken to wearing iron undergarments.

7. Envy:  Envy is a mimic, and loves nothing better than to mimic his more powerful "friends" among the Sins, thus getting to enjoy the side-glow of their accomplishments.  He prefers to mimic Pride and Gluttony, but is terrified of Wrath discovering that he views him as a father, let alone how much Envy mimics him in the privacy of his room at Pride's house.  Pride often sends him out to buy her things, knowing that he will come back with the best and/or most expensive of the available selection.  Envy knows very well that the others prefer him to be seen and not heard, if they want him to be seen at all, which is passing rare.  Not understanding why Sloth almost refuses to move more than an inch daily, Envy avoids his room; taking the lead from the others, he usually ignores Lust.  It is, however, more than possible that he sees Lust as a kindred spirit, though he will never admit as much.  Envy's eyes and hair are both steely grey when he isn't concentrating on them being a different color; unlike Lust, he can only make his eyes and hair change colors, and even then, he needs to concentrate on them both with all of his might to prevent them from shifting back.  He doesn't know what to do about any of the Virtues, but as his curiosity has led him to being caught on their property or in their homes numerous times, it is unlikely that he views them with the disdain that his siblings harbor.

////

1. Chastity:  Chastity has a heart-shaped face brimming with innocence.  Her hair is long, blonde, and curly, often falling in a cascade down her back.  Though she is beautiful, she does not use her beauty for anything; she may be unaware of it.  She lives in a small apartment, more functional than anything else; the small touches of deliberate beauty are mostly from when Lust was still allowed to visit.  She is generally seen in the company of one of her own siblings; her innocence has left her uncertain of how the human world works.  With this in mind, the other Virtues have apartments near her own so that they can protect her from human influences, as the Sins almost never even try to visit.  Chastity has seen Envy many times, and thinks him cute.  Her fear of Lust returning has led her to keep iron undergarments on at all times.

2. Temperance:  Temperance believes in moderation, and is usually the one who goes to one or another of the Sins, trying to get them to understand that they might have better lives if they limited themselves.  Her efforts so far have yielded very little, but her twin brother, Diligence, keeps her hopeful that maybe, one day they will listen.  She is rather plain, and wears simple clothing which may have been in style several centuries ago.  Gluttony in particular seems to view her as well-intentioned, though thinks she might have better luck if she attempted to understand why others did what they did instead of simply trying to force her views on others.  Temperance is the only Virtue unafraid enough of Wrath to approach him; this has led Wrath to viewing her as a needy creature who needs some proper parenting.  However, he refuses to do such himself, either because he knows that he would probably end up attempting to kill her or because he doesn't feel like it.

3. Charity:  A name which very often turns up on the donation records of very many organizatons which are slanted towards helping others.  She is herself penniless, but always gives everything she has to people she views are in greater need.  She likely would have starved herself to death had the Sins not taken notice and thence under their respective wings.  Gluttony sees to it that she is fed by putting her in positions where she is the person who most needs food, and Greed sees to it that her apartment's rent is always paid on time, as well as that she always has money to give to her organizations.  Lust sees to it that she is clothed; she would deliver the clothing herself, but she is no longer allowed on that floor of the apartment by Chastity's request.  Instead, the clothes are boxed and left for her in the lobby.  Charity isn't certain of what to make of these actions, as she is grateful that the Sins are sharing, but would prefer that they shared with someone "more deserving" than she herself.

4. Diligence:  A hard worker who gives his aid to any construction work around, no matter what the cause.  He is almost never not working for this reason.  He cuts his brown hair right at shoulder length, as it tends to interfere with his work whenever it gets longer.  He enjoys what he does, and is the person who has done most of the work on Envy's most recent house expansions.  He is a cheerful person, who always seems to find hope in even the worst situations; several humans have even given him the nickname of Hope.  The few times he is not working, he is generally at a church, enjoying the atmosphere.  His brown eyes are always alight, and he never seems to take offence at anyone for anything.

5. Patience:  Patience has a very oriental-looking face and body, and is usually meditating.  When she chooses to move, she does so with grace and elegance, flowing like water over stone.  She almost never leaves her own apartment—decorated by Lust to be an almost-perfect reproduction of a Buddhist sanctuary—and very often says that happiness only comes to those who do not chase it.  She is a very tranquil person with a soft voice; her gentleness often wins her arguments without her even trying.

6. Kindness:  Probably Chastity's closest friend and companion now that Lust isn't allowed near.  She has often been mistaken for Pride from a distance, as the two of them are almost twin images of one another.  But where Pride is forceful and arrogant to the point that most men who approach her are intimidated, Kindness is sweet and charming.  She is the only one of the Virtues and Sins to have a stable relationship with a human.  She may soon be the only one of them to be married to a human, and also the only one to have had children.  She is also charitable, but not the same self-destructive point that Charity has taken the quality to.

7. Humility:  The embodiment of the greatest difference between the Sins and the Virtues, Humility all but refuses to believe that she is worth anything.  It may be that the only reason she is still around is because of Diligence and Greed.  She wears unflattering clothing and does little to tame her mass of hair.  Her eyes are constantly downcast, and she moves in a shuffle.  She is the only one of the Virtues who does not live in the apartment building with Chastity; instead, she has a room with Greed, who makes certain that she eats and does not take her lack of self-respect to extremes.  It has worked somewhat better now that Diligence is almost always within visiting distance.

Homophobia means:
* I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.
* I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.
* I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.
* We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.
* I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.
* I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
* I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.
* I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.
* We are the couple who had the Realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.
* I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.
* I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.
* I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.
* I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.
* I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
* I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.
* I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transgendered.
* I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.
* I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
* I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
* I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.

Re-post this if you believe homophobia is wrong. Please do your part to end it. Now really, go! Truly I tell you, an institution that protects and supports hatred on any level can never be one of love.
